We are looking for a Data Scientist who specializes in machine learning (ML) application in computer graphics to join our Global Insights team. Blizzard data scientists design and deploy data-powered products and services that serve the business and development of Blizzard games every day. The ideal candidate is passionate about the latest innovations in ML and AI; has expertise in designing deep learning system in computer graphics domain; with strong programming skill to help deploy and maintain them.
Responsibilities
Research and develop state-of-the-art machine learning solutions for computer graphic problems to enhance game development and gameplay objectives.
Work closely with software engineers and tech artists to deploy, automate, and maintain models seamlessly on production systems.
Communicate about machine learning models and products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Has 2+ years’ work experience with Master or PhD in ML and computer graphics
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: deep learning on 3D representations, generative models such as diffusion models and generative adversarial network (GAN), and deep learning for character animation
Hands-on applied or research experience developing machine learning models on large image/3D model data sets
Proficient in Python and experienced in at least one other higher-level programming languages like Java, C++, C#, etc.
Practical experience with deep learning libraries/frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras, or JAX
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with 3D graphics programs like 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, or Houdini

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $92,920.00 - $171,814.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. The MuleSoft Integration Developer/Architect is responsible for many aspects of all systems within the Enterprise Integration Services Product, as well as mentoring and guiding the larger Enterprise Integration Services team on best practices, standardization, CI/CD, automation, observability, error handling, technical documentation, solution architecture, and Architecture Board Reviews as requested.
In the MuleSoft Integration Developer/Architect role, you will be responsible for administrative duties for peripheral systems in our development environments. This includes supporting the environments used for quality assurance and development by configuring, deploying, and monitoring the applications and servers. The application administrator provides 1st level technical support troubleshooting and problem solving for software development teams.

About the role:
Gartner’s Customer Experience platform delivers actionable, objective insights to its clients every day, and we’re seeking a seasoned, forward-thinking senior engineering professional to lead the implementation of our next-generation approach to Platform and Product Engineering.
What you'll do:
The Managing VP, Software Engineering (Digital Products Technology) will lead a team of about 80 software engineers worldwide, who partner with our Global Product Management team to deliver Gartner research directly to our C-level clients on gartner.com. Our website is the storefront of Gartner’s $4.5 billion Research and Advisory business, and we’re in the midst of a CX transformation that calls for an experienced software development leader who can partner closely with Product, attract and retain top-notch engineering talent, manage and mentor a large global team, and cultivate a no-limits technology mindset that puts the customer at the center. You will lead the Customer Centered transformation of our Digital Products portfolio to increase both efficiency and innovation in a dynamic, growth environment. You will be responsible for growing an already modern technology function into one of the best in the world.
What you'll need:
You’ll have:
At least 12 years experience with people management as an engineering leader for a geographically distributed team
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
Substantial experience with modern full-stack technologies such as ReactJS, Java
Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases
Experience with driving Automation in your SDLC
Experience with Cloud environments as well as cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred)
A record of success with Agile Scrum team structure and methodology (preferably using SAFE)
Experience with CMS Systems, Search Systems, Data Management and Enterprise Portfolio Management
Our people are our greatest asset, and your track record of success in mentorship and leadership-by-example will be a key qualification. You will have proven experience managing technology in a publishing and internet facing digital product portfolio and understand the key pain points of the business model as well as solutions to these key pain points. You would further need to have used to aid and assist your decision making as well as creating a more customer centric product experience.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 184,000 USD - 275,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
